Privacy Policy

How BidRivet handles account, company, quote, and billing data.

Effective date: August 13, 2026
Last updated: August 13, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Bell Software LLC handles information for BidRivet websites, the BidRivet web app, the BidRivet iOS and Android apps, and related services. It is incorporated into the BidRivet Terms of Service.

Data we collect

BidRivet stores your email address and the account information needed to sign in, company settings, team roles, quote drafts, approved proposal snapshots, workflow events, pricebook entries, and billing entitlement records.

How we use data

We use this information to build estimates, enforce workflow permissions, produce customer proposals, maintain audit history, manage subscriptions, and secure, support, maintain, and improve the service.

We use account contact information to send non-promotional service communications such as account verification, security alerts, billing and subscription notices, trial-status notices, support responses, service interruption or maintenance notices, and notices concerning material changes to BidRivet, the Terms of Service, or this Privacy Policy.

We may occasionally contact current or recent users to request voluntary feedback about their BidRivet experience. A feedback invitation does not enroll you in marketing communications, and you may ask us not to send further feedback invitations.

Creating an account or agreeing to the Terms of Service does not enroll you in newsletters or promotional email. If BidRivet offers email marketing, it will be handled separately from required service communications and will include the consent, preference, and opt-out choices required by applicable law.

Service providers

BidRivet uses infrastructure and service providers for hosting, authentication, email delivery, and store purchase verification. We do not sell customer data.

Cookies and similar tools

BidRivet uses required cookies and similar browser tools for sign-in, security, keeping your session active, remembering legal acceptance, and saving privacy choices. We remember privacy choices for up to 180 days.

Analytics and marketing measurement

Public BidRivet pages may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand general website traffic and page performance. BidRivet may also use Google Ads and Meta business tools, including the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, to understand whether ads lead to trial signups. Meta conversion events use limited browser and request details plus a one-way account identifier; BidRivet does not send quote or customer content to Meta. In regions where permission is required, optional analytics and advertising tools are off until you allow them.

BidRivet may record simple website activity, such as whether a public estimating tool was viewed or completed. Trial signups may keep limited campaign details such as the page, button, or ad campaign that led to the signup. BidRivet does not save full advertising click identifiers.

Privacy choices

You can reopen analytics and advertising choices from the Privacy choices link in the public page footer. Declining optional cookies does not affect the required tools used to sign in, protect the service, or save your app work.

Retention and deletion

Company-owned quote and billing records may need to be retained for audit, subscription, and business continuity reasons. You can request account deletion at /account/delete. Eligible deletions are completed within 30 days unless legal, billing, fraud, tax, or company-ownership obligations require continued retention. BidRivet reviews requests through an operator-owned manual queue, records completion notes, and confirms completion after the request is processed.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as BidRivet or our practices change. We will post the updated policy and revise the dates shown above. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice to affected account holders before the changes take effect when practicable, using email, a conspicuous in-product notice, or another reasonable direct method. Non-material clarifications or corrections may be posted without individual notice. Urgent changes required for security or legal compliance may take effect immediately, with notice provided afterward when appropriate. Where applicable law requires consent for a change, we will obtain that consent before applying the change.
